2022 Thanksgiving Food Basket Drive
Gratefulness is in the air, as we launch our Thanksgiving Food Basket Drive! On Sunday, November 20th, from 10 am-noon, please drop off items at LCAC, 9520 Richmond Highway (Lorton Community Center). For this basket drive to be successful, we need your help. Please assemble and deliver the Thanksgiving donations in sturdy boxes or plastic bins, and keep produce in a separate bag. Please download and print a donation form to complete and bring with your donation.
Assemble a food box containing:
- 1 box of stuffing (no bags)
- 1 package or can of gravy (no jars)
- 2 pound bag of rice
- 2 boxes of pasta
- 1 large container of pasta sauce (no jars)
- 1 bottle of oil
- 1 brownie mix or cake mix with frosting
- 1 box of cereal
- 1 box of kids snacks (8ct)
Please place the following in a separate bag:
- 1 bag of apples or oranges
- 1 bag of potatoes
- 1 bag of onions
Hand the following to volunteer accepting the box:
- $25 grocery gift card from Food Lion (closest store to LCAC families)
- Your completed donation form

Sunday, November 20, 10am-12pm
Drop off location:
LCAC, 9520 Richmond Highway
(Lorton Community Center)
Deliver food in sturdy boxes or plastic bins.
Please keep produce in a separate bag.
Grocery gift cards should be kept separate with the dollar amount noted on the card.
