Since 2023, we have been fortunate to partner with Vitamin Angels here at LCAC. Vitamin Angels is a global nonprofit focused on helping underserved populations in need, specifically pregnant women, new mothers, and children under five.
Once a year, our food pantry receives 100 bottles of daily prenatal multivitamins containing 180 capsules each. That’s a total of 50 years’ worth of vitamins, and we distribute almost all of them! Prenatal multivitamins can help meet increased nutritional needs to support a healthy pregnancy, birth, and a baby.
Providing resources like this is part of our All Can Be Healthy Initiative, which responds to the need to make health resources more widely available to underserved individuals and families in the Lorton community.
