Case Management

ESL Classes

LCAC offers English as a Second Language classes to help those learning how to speak, read and write in English.  Classes meet twice weekly throughout the calendar year - two sessions during the school year and one summer session.  In order to allow parents to attend classes, LCAC offers free childcare during classes.  For more information contact Jannette Tococari -  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Nutrition Classes

Every spring LCAC offers free nutrition classes that teach people how to make healthy food choices on a limited budget.  Topics include stretching the food dollar and budgeting, low fat foods, reading labels, preparing balanced meals, and basic nutrition.  Classes are offered in both English and Spanish.  Free childcare is offered during classes.   Contact Karlene Webster - This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Pro Bono Legal Services

In partnership with the Northern Virginia Bar Association, LCAC provides free legal service for individuals and families. Once monthly an attorney and/or paralegal meets with clients at Lorton Community Resource Center (walking distance from LCAC).  Attorneys and paralegals assist with civil matters including immigration, employment, housing, family matters such as child custody and support, divorce, public benefits and consumer matters.  For more information, contact Jannette Tococari - This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
