Donate — Funds
You may make a financial donation right now by clicking on the “Donate Now” button where your contribution will be quickly and securely processed through FirstGiving.
Consider a sustaining (recurring) gift as it is a way to provide ongoing support to LCAC and it enables you to give a fixed amount each month (which is easier on your budget) and.... you may be able to give more! You can set this up by clicking "Donate Now" and you are on your way to being a part of the solution!
Every dollar makes a difference right here in southeast Fairfax County, VA!

The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) - LCAC's CFC #58126
Are you a Federal employee? If so, your participation in the CFC is a great way to support LCAC because you can donate monthly and know that you are supporting a worthy local charity throughout the year. When the CFC campaign kicks off at work, please remember LCAC! CFC #58126
Does your company have a matching gift program? Many companies will match dollar for dollar and, in some instances, they may make a financial match for your volunteer hours as well! Contact your human resources department to find out.
Donate — Time
Giving of your time, energy, expertise and enthusiasm is truly priceless! Volunteers are involved in every aspect of LCAC’s programs and services and we would not be able to fulfill our mission without the effort of hundreds of volunteers. Whether you love interacting with people, prefer to work quietly, can help out once each year, or once a week, please click here to learn more about LCAC volunteer opportunities!
Donate — Food, Clothing & Furniture
LCAC serves more than 220 families each week, and needs more than 4 tons of food each month to help families in our community avoid hunger. Food donations are always welcome and are particularly needed in the summer when demand is the highest and supply is the lowest.
Needed food items:
Pasta sauce (no glass jars please)
1 or 2 lb. bags of rice
Kids snack foods
Needed non-food items:
Baby diapers (size 4 & 5)
Contact Stephenie Hart, LCAC’s Food Program Manager to drop off food, or organize a food drive on LCAC’s behalf,
or 703/339-5161, ext. 120.
