LCAC Mission
Lorton Community Action Center is a community- based, 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in our community through individual and family services, community programs and partnerships with other organizations.
LCAC Goals
To promote the importance of healthy families and to help all clients reach self-sufficiency.
Who We Serve
LCAC provides services and programs to the people living in the following zip codes: 22079, 22199, 22122, and the southern portion of 22060. There are exceptions made when people are referred. Location
LCAC is located behind the Lorton Library at 9518 Richmond Highway. Map this location.
Directions from I-95:
- Take I-95 South/Richmond to Exit 163/Lorton.
- Turn left onto Lorton Road. Go .8 miles.
- Turn right onto Armistead Rd. (Rt. 748). Go one block to traffic light.
- Turn right onto Route 1 Go 1-1/2 blocks.
- Turn into the parking lot for Lorton Library.
- Continue through the parking lot to the small yellow house on the right.
Metrobus does not provide service to our area. The Fairfax Connector Route 171 has a stop at the Lorton Library.
